Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., along with our affiliates and subsidiaries (collectively, “Samsung”) respects your concerns about privacy. This Samsung Gaming Hub Privacy Notice applies to the personal information we obtain through Samsung Gaming Hub (the “Service”). It does not apply to information collected by other apps, websites or services provided by Samsung. If you are a minor, please refer to our Samsung Gaming Hub U.S. Privacy Notice for Minors with a parent or guardian, which will help you understand better what information we collect and how we use it.

This Privacy Notice supplements the Samsung Privacy Policy for the U.S. (available at https://www.samsung.com/us/account/privacy-policy (“Samsung Privacy Policy”) and provides additional information about how we may collect, use and share your personal information in connection with the Services. In the event any portion of this Privacy Notice conflicts with the Samsung Privacy Policy, the relevant provisions of this Privacy Notice will govern.

Information We Obtain

Through the Service, we may obtain information about you in various ways. The types of personal information we may obtain include:

Information You Provide Directly

• Your Samsung account information, including profile information; and
• Customer service interactions, including verifying your identity.

Information About Your Use of the Service

In addition to the information you provide, we may collect information about your use of the Service through software on your devices and by other means. We may collect:

• Information about your Service-enabled devices, such as hardware information, software information, device and Service settings, and unique device identifiers;
• Diagnostic, technical, error, and usage information, including how, when, and for how long you use the Service, along with other information about your use of the Service, such as how you interact with content and games, including recommendations; and
• Information from partners: information about content and games you play, including in-game content.

We also may collect other information about you, your devices and apps, and your use of the Service in ways that we describe to you at the time of collection or otherwise with your consent.

The Samsung Privacy Policy also describes other information we may collect, including through cookies and third-party analytics services.

How We Use the Information We Obtain

We may use the information we obtain through the Service to:

• identify and authenticate you so you may use the Service;
• provide you with the Service;
• improve and customize your experience with the Service, such as delivering content and responses tailored to you and the way you interact with the Service;
• link your Samsung account and/or interact with third-party devices, apps, features or services;
• respond to your requests, inquiries, and instructions made through or about the Service;
• deliver marketing communications via email and push notifications with your consent, including personalized communications;
• provide advertising within the Service, including with your consent personalized advertisements. To serve personalized advertisements we may share your personal information (such as identifiers and online activity) by allowing certain third parties (such as online advertising services) to collect your personal information via automated technologies and server-to-server connections on the Services. This kind of sharing may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information or the use of personal information to serve “targeted advertising” under certain privacy laws;
• if you have enabled Customization Service, use the information to provide customized content and recommendations. More details are available in the Customization Service Privacy Notice (available here);
• if you have enabled Customization Service, with your separate consent to “Personalize your ads experience with Samsung account data,” use the information collected through the Service to provide personalized ads on other Samsung services where you have opted in to receive personalized ads on that other Samsung service. More details are available in the “Marketing and Advertising” section of the Samsung account privacy notice (available at

• with your separate consent to “Improve personalized ads with precise location data,” use geolocation collected through the Service to provide personalized ads on other Samsung services where you have opted in to receive personalized ads on that other Samsung service. We may use and combine the information we collect about you from the Service with data from other services, features or devices you use, such as when you use the Galaxy Store, you can get customized services based on the data that combines game usage records from the Service and Galaxy Store.

The Service may provide the ability to connect to or show other websites, apps, services, and other features, such as showing content you like or use from Samsung or third-party services. Third-party websites, apps, services, and features may operate independently from us and may have their own privacy notices or policies. Review them to ensure that you understand how they process your information. To the extent that any other linked or shown website, app, service or other feature is not owned or controlled by us, we are not responsible for its content, use or privacy practices.

Information Sharing

As you use the Service, we share the types of information we collect (as described above) to the following entities for the purposes described above.

1. Subsidiaries and Affiliates: Samsung branded and non-branded subsidiaries and affiliates which we control or own;
2. Service Providers/Processors: Carefully selected companies that provide services for or on behalf of us. These providers are also committed to protecting your information.
3. Other Parties When Required by Law or as Necessary to Protect Our Services: For example, it may be necessary by law, legal process, or court order from governmental authorities to disclose your information. They may also seek your information from us for the purposes of law enforcement, national security, anti-terrorism, or other issues that are related to public security.
4. Other Parties with Your Consent or at Your Direction: In addition to the disclosures described in this Privacy Notice, we share information about you with third parties when you separately consent to or request such sharing.

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time and without prior notice to you to reflect changes in our personal information practices with respect to the Service or changes in applicable law. We will provide you with advanced notice of any material changes by notifying you through the Service or email if we have one. This Privacy Notice will explain how we handle information about you when you use Samsung Gaming Hub (the “Service”). If you have any questions while reading this Privacy Notice, we recommend you sit with a parent or guardian to help you review and understand this Privacy Notice.

Please note that this is a simplified version of the Samsung Gaming Hub U.S. Privacy Notice made for minors (those under 18 years of age), not a substitute.

Information We Get

When you use the Service, we may collect, and you might share with us, certain information about you. These include:

Information You Choose to Give Us

• Samsung account information: information about your account, including profile information; and
• Customer service information: your communications with customer service, including information we need to check who you are.

Information About Your Use of the Service

• Information about what you’re using: This is information about your device, like what kind of device you are using, what settings on your device and in the Service you have turned on or off, and information that lets us know which device is yours (these are called identifiers); and
• Information about how you use the Service: This includes how, when, and for how long you use the Service, including details about the content you use, games you play(this includes in-game content), and recommendations.

We may also collect other information about you, your devices and apps, and how you use the Service when you allow us. When we do, we will explain it to you.

How We Use the Information

We may use the information we get through the Service for the purposes below. We may not use your information for some of the purposes depending on how old you are. For example, if you’re under 18, we won’t use your information for personalized ads.

• make sure it is you that is using the Service;
• let you use the Service;
• make the service better;
• show and provide you with features you might like;
• let you use your Samsung account with other apps, features or services that aren’t from Samsung;
• let you ask questions and give instructions through or about the Service and respond to them;
• show you advertisements, including with your permission, personalized advertisements. To show you personalized advertisements, we may share your personal information (such as identifiers and online activity) by allowing certain third parties (such as online advertising services) to collect your personal information automatically and through our servers. We use and combine the information we collect about you from the Service with data from other services, features or devices you use, such as when you use the Galaxy Store, you can get customized services based on the data that combines game usage records from the Service and Galaxy Store.

Sharing Your Information

Where applicable, we may share your information with other Samsung companies and service providers that help us run the Service. Sometimes, we are required by law to share information for legal purposes, or public safety. Additionally, we may share your information when you give us permission or request it.

If you don't understand, please ask your parent or guardian to help you understand who we share your information with.

How Long We Keep Your Information

We don’t keep your personal information if we don’t need it. Your information will be kept for as long as it is needed to provide you with the Service, as required by law (government rules) or contracts (promises we made to other companies), or only for as long as necessary for one of the purposes above.

Once it is no longer needed, we will either delete it or anonymize it (meaning we won’t know it’s your information).

What Can You Ask Us To Do With Your Information?

Depending on where you live, you (or your parent or guardian) have the right to ask us to:
• give you a copy of the information we have about you and in a way other devices can read this information;
• update or fix your information;
• delete your information;

https://www.samsung.com/us/privacy/rights/). If you ask us to delete or stop using your information, some parts of the Service might not work as expected. Always talk to your parents or guardian if you are not sure.

Updates to This Privacy Notice

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will let you know before we update this Privacy Notice through the Service or email if we have one. You can always see when we last made changes to this Privacy Notice by checking the date at the top.
